Florida East Coast Railways, one of the nation's oldest surviving railroads, serves the east coast between Miami and Jacksonville and connects with railroads serving the rest of the U.S.

St. Lucie County International Airport, with its 5,000 and 6,500 foot asphalt lighted runways and instrument approaches, has shown steady growth. It's ideal for smaller jets and propeller driven aircraft. The nearby Airport Industrial Park East is home to 52 businesses and some 900 employees. The 155-acre Airport Industrial Park West is currently under construction.
Florida Coastal Airlines received approval November 15th to offer commuter service providing the only direct service between St. Lucie County and the Bahamas. FCA also connects service to major airlines at Fort Lauderdale airport. www.floridacoastalairlines.com/where.htm
The Port of Fort Pierce is the Treasure Coast's only deepwater port. The channel is 28 feet deep, and the Port has onsite direct access to the Florida East Coast Railroad. It is located only 6 miles to the Florida Turnpike and I-95, and 4 miles to the St. Lucie International Airport.
